National Movement for the DREAM Act in Full Swing

Young Immigrants in 26 States Go Hungry, Give Back to their Communities and Advocate for the DREAM Act

Washington, DC – As most Americans prepare for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, undocumented students and their allies in several states are going without food until Senators commit to support the DREAM Act when it is brought to a vote. And in several more states, DREAM Act students and allies advocates are giving back to their communities by organizing food banks and blood drives nationwide. In addition advocates are placing tens of thousands of calls to their Members of Congress and holding a variety of community events to push for the DREAM Act.
